Hi players!

This is my first try with a roguelike game. When I found this competition I spent about a week in my spare time to read through the documentation and finally I decided to start here and not in an independent game.

I played the first 25 dungeon level in a very slow style: I walked around the whole map and finished all room before I went down on the stairs. This secured enough advantage to make the game easy for me.

Then once I was lucky to find the Dagger 'Nimthanc' with 125 damage/round and a Heavy Crossbow of Extra Shots with Bolts of Wounding (1d5) (+8,+16) which do 228 dmg/rnd. These made the next levels very easy so when I found a deep descend scroll in the 25. level then I decided to read it.

Now I have problems with confusion-casting monsters. My teleport staffs are helped me out more times to stay live so I started to be cautious.

I like all Rods due to the infinite recharge ability, especially the Rod of Identify which is my most used tool.

I dislike the small capacity of my home: this house is really smaller than two backpack? ;)

I think this is a well polished game, thanks to all developers!

As expected I finished my first try without the final success. A large group of Ogres surrounded and slowed my character to (-10). A Potion of Cure Critical Wounds healed less points than the damage taken during a quaff. All of my tries to use teleport are failed. Lastly I read a Phase Door but arrived to a wrong place where got the final hit instantly.

To tell the truth I forgot the speed potion, and my first Healing potion should be in my backpack and not in my home.

I am curious how many levels can I pass second time.
