Soon after arriving I stepped on a levelport trap and landed in underworld:40, and a special level! It was the dragon one, which is the earliest I've ever seen it, usually I only see it in Angband. Unfortunately, I was a little out of depth, and pretty soon met a dracolisk, which I tried to fight a little, probably a dumb move, I had to ?teleport level away.

Which brought me to another special level, Barahir's. This one is the easiest special level, so I actually managed to clear it, and got +8 sandals of speed for it, not bad. Not sure if I've actually found speed boots in FA before, maybe once.

In the meantime, I got the warlord's level right after resuming too. Entering from the west seems like the easiest way to do it, tons of tree cover. I always seem to get it from the east, which is like impossible since you have no cover. Unfortunately again, a master rogue created traps without me noticing and I fell into the underworld, too bad.

Anyway, up to five blows. Found a nice green dragon scale mail, made from a dwarven green dragon, giving me free action and the rPois needed for Glaurung. Also allowed me to switch in some magic mastery, so hopefully I can use some good staves now.

Pretty decent speed too, 12 base, which goes up a whole lot with speed combined with fury.

At D:99 now. I suppose I need a good valinorean sword and a ring of speed now.

I almost died on the way down, I entered next to an ethereal pit (with ethereal dragons, Ilmen, and a lot of power dragons) which for some reason I destructed instead of using ?tlevel or something. Anyway after most of the big stuff was gone I let a bunch of ethereal dragons around me while I was still blinding from destructed (no rBlind in my current setup), and a few breathed on the same turn (no rLight or rDark either) which took me down to ~13 hp. I had to use a !healing since I was blind, luckily there were no more breaths, but it was pretty careless play.
