His latest hardship occurred when he accidentally stepped next to a mushroom patch that diseased him (I hate ASCII). Of course, no cure disease was available in town, so he skipped deeper through the dungeon quickly looking for one.

He survived, eventually finding one in town but the damage was done. Luckily restore INT was being sold because the INT was getting pretty low.

He's in over his head now. The mana to kill stuff just isn't there. Without a lucky find, and I don't even know what that would be, he's not long for this world.

He's already dead. I just haven't updated the dump yet. DL15 looked survivable, so he was milking it for all he could get. As usual, mana ran low and detection suffered. He unknowingly lit a room full of mirkwood and wood spiders and had to use speed to flee. He eventually killed all he pursuers but not before he was (heavily) poisoned. There were no healing potions available when he was last in town so his supply was light going in, supplementing it with heroism. It wasn't enough.

This was a standard roller disaster, but these stats seem weak even by my standards. I'll have to look into what's happening at character creation. I miss the random name generator.
