Ok so i finally got another charicter past the first three quests (hard, of course) which was the bar i set myself for submission. The first quest was for warping feinds, which was just a case of praying that the first one dident breath on me and then tanking the nexus breth, It only had bad effects once, and I managed to kill them all.
The second quest has been by FAR my biggest killer so far, but with a quest for mages and a healthy sized stack of ?PhaseDoor it was a brezze, seriously this was a realatively easy second quest. The reward from this quest was my first artifact, havent bothered to look them up yet but ive had several useless Arti gloves in my time and im aware there basicly resit foo plus foo balls.
For my third quest i had Cultists, however i had managed to find 3 !Speed (I have good luck with speed items :P) allready so i decided to brave it. Lost 1 speed reteing from the starting room, in which i was a bit open, one when reaproching the starting room, and the third against a Fang-Grip-Cultist-Cultist group. In all honesty the first two were wasted. the reward weapon was nice but too heavy for me so i traded it in for two ?EnchantWeapon, not entirely sure how the +X works here but i sure know +2 beets +0 any day of the week (is it just to hit or is there some +Dam in there as well?)
Anyway that's it so far, but the next quest is for stone golems, which is very nice (with -10 Speed and no ranged attack a lvl1 mage could melle it naked with good planing; seriously -speed monsters _need_ some sort of ranged attack or spell otherwise there just prime training ground for muchkin divers)
Also as you can all probably tell my luck from scrambulsII hasen't held on my last few attempts. the funnyest was ScrambulsIV who started with a mean looking mercinary tock=hing him on his left and a battle scared vet touching him on his right- you can guess the result.

YASD- forgot to cast sheild before takeing on the werewolf. I could pulverise them with it (even with an anoying light hound or two getting involved) but W/O I got eaten.

Something I noticed: You seem to start a new game with the same race/class after you die. However you're supposed to restart with the original savefile instead every time.

Does it make a differance, i am useing the same start stats- they were swaped a bit though... i will reuse the originla in future.

Without randarts, there is almost no difference, I just noticed and figured I might as well tell you.
