Nothing interesting found in Old Castle, despite the White Aura. Killed Brand, Gandalf, and Dworkin, and was pleased to get 2 of the 3 named items (Incanus and Jewel). Jewel, in particular, solves the persistent RChaos problem.

+13 speed now, and missing only RSound. Ironically, *still* haven't found any RoDamage better than +13 yet.

All resists covered and +22 base speed. Check out the randart weapon I scored. HP, as always, is not high enough. Damage output also a bit low at 380 / round (although it's a 700+ vs dragons).

With that weapon and Passwall, I'm terrorizing all sorts of Dragons in the Lair.

The game's slowing to a crawl now. In the past 2 hours, I only managed to upgrade =oSpeed (+7) to =oSpeed(+9) and =oDamage(+13) to =oDamage(+16). Did you *destruct* to make possible hidey-holes against Bahamut? Sometimes it helps, but sometimes the floor pattern doesn't allow for summoning mitigation. Sorry you failed the quest, but still hoping to see a nice victory here.
