| Saegwath the dark elf was always the odd-one-out in Santa's workshop, what with all the other elves being bright and cheery and all. He is bloody sick of slaving away every Christmas, and has decided to sneak away and do something bigger with his life. And what could be bigger than unseating the Lord of Darkness himself and ruling in his place FOR EVER?! This FA competition is being run as a thank-you and congratulations to Nick, so let's do our best to fill the comp ladder with as many grisly savaged Saegwath corpses as we can, shall we? Hints from the big man himself: 1. Set traps with '+'. (All that toymaking experience has taught Saegwath a thing or two about complicated contraptions.) 2. Rogues get to use magic books (the red ones) 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 - go straight to the shop 0 and order books two and three (Minor Powers and Useful Magic). 3. Dark-Elves never aggravate; aggravation items just give a penalty to stealth. 4. Unlight gives the ability to read in the dark, plus increased stealth and AC in the dark. If you choose to wield a light, radius is limited to 2. Competition winner is the game winner with the highest score/turns, or failing that the highest score/turns. | |
