My first attempt at Drang in over 10 years. I found a bunch of speed rings early and then when I found the helm of dragonkind I thought I was set. I was fine at dungeon level 69 until running into a Great Wyrm of Law, he summoned 3 more Wyrms and I stupidly read a phase door scroll instead of teleport which put me into an open room nearby and they blasted me down to ~100 hp. I then read a destruction scroll and one Wyrm survived and he offed me. Ack ack ack ack. Stupid stupid stupid. I should have worn my remaining speed ring instead of the Dex ring and then I should have teleported right off the level. Skullface will be avenged!

I really love this variant.
