Throughout time, there are men and women who rise above the petty concerns of their nation. Men and women who strive to become the best they can be, exemplars of all that is Right and Good.

And then there are the people that hide in back alley's lucky to get a prime cut of tomcat to eat. Ignored by the so-called heroes of the time, they are unhelped, unloved, and uncared for. But of course, for all who cry for help... A champion will rise.

Kupop grew up as one of six pups in a Goblin litter. He had to filch food from the larger folk for his younger brothers and sister to survive, and occasionally got away with scaring small children, when he was lucky.

One day, he returned home to find that a hero had exorcised his father, and slain his family for the pitiful collection of baubles, including a broken dagger(1d1/0, -1, -2).

Filled with rage at the pointlessness of it all, Kupop grabbed his possessions, hidden inside a half-eaten Cornish pasty, and set off with his prized lucky charm: A signed portrait of Dr. Materialismus.

He fought throughout the dungeon, training his mind to be as sharp as goblinly possible, making friends with the few larger folk who would talk to him, and breaking the minds of those who stood for Evil... Or just tried to eat him.

Eventually, he got rid of the Evils of the Day, bought a large manor-house estate in the countryside underneath the earth, and invited all Goblins in the world to Unite, and come live there. He has last been seen campainging for equal rights, and throwing pure entropy at those who stand in his way, and the way of Progress.

This was quite possibly the most enjoyable character ever, for me. Once I got past the utterly pitiable first five levels or so... Kupop was actually pretty good. The trick was, since he was going to have low STR anyway, take Erudite. It usually is horrible, but in this case...

Bam. Fear the mentalist. Ramble = /off, I hope no one has minded! Let's fill the Steam charts with Goblins, Comrades!

Heh, automata have their weaknesses too *Coughs* luddite swarms *Coughs*. If you try a goblin, I heartily recomend a class that can raise it's prime statistics. Dashing Hussar or Gentleman/Lady would be good choices, especially as the Gentlemen's martial arts seem to work wonderfully, even with pitiful muscle.

Be paranoid until you are level 15 or so, and don't hesitate to build up your erudition; you'll need the extra schooling and ego that it will give you. After that, maintain some level of paranoia, but don't worry too much. When you've got a nice ego item or two, you'll be able to play as a normal character!

Of course, these are just my notes, they may not work for you. But regardless, good luck with both your current and any subsequent characters!
