Then get 200 arrows (as much as you can carry) and go down a bit, at your depth you'll find only !CHR. Typical 'stat-gain' is at dlevel ~33, a bit deeper than the native potion depth (30).
Maybe switch in a good ring of +CON, you're strong enough with only one ring of STR, and more HP can't hurt.
Oh, and with no chance to get 0% fail on spells, I'd carry some scrolls of Phase Door/Teleport - sometimes you only have one try ;-)

Now at clvl 32, with a bunch of stat enhancements - only WIS is below 18. Found a rinf of poison at BM to cover the last basic resistance while wearing Arvedui. Feeling cocky :). Oh, and wearing the boots of wormtongue, which is the first speed boost.

Waiting for a good shopkeeper to aactually *sell* the CB, though.
