My best character yet, and (most recently) reluctant hero of Lake Town. I was rather shocked at what I found on returning from Lonely Mountain, and when I encountered the guardian I promptly ran back to the mountain. I was about to return to the dungeon when I realized that about the only thing I was likely to achieve was to deplete my supplies, so I returned to fight. Lacking Bard's special arrow, I was forced to rely on my normal ones - fortunately I had about 300 of them (even so, I didn't have many left over). What with the resulting drop and the reward items, I think I'm very well-equipped for the moment.

Now in Lothlorien (and still alive, to my great surprise). I have some equipment problems - I dropped my spellbooks for some more inventory space, intending to restock in Lothlorien, only to find it doesn't have a magic shop! So that's a problem, and I'm not too happy about the drained stats either. I had to leave a lot of artifacts behind, but since I didn't identify them I should have a shot at finding them all again. Onward...

Just defeated Saruman (more easily than I expected) and FINALLY nailed Wormtongue, the little rat. Isengard proved to be a much better place to hunt him down. I'm planning on hanging around Isengard a little more before moving on and hopefully moving my stats up a little further. Lothlorien definitely needs a magic shop and perhaps Edoras as well - it's a bit unfair to have just temples and no magic stores at BOTH places.

I have only myself to blame for this one. Never underestimate a druj - it got a double move on me (I was actually diving to look for more speed) and that was that. It was nearly dead or I probably wouldn't have attacked it...

This was a fun character. I'll try again from the beginning, maybe with a different class - I'm not sure yet.
