Generally my primary tactic was: Completing my set in Mandos. Then cleaning out the Uniques and looking for an Elven Cloak of Air. Or an artifact cloak of Air if there is any. There was nt both of it. Going slow at the beginning, I skipped most of the dungeons. (or only thunderlorded to the bottom level. Then I dived Angband in a rush. Using primarily genocide on special feeling levels for better overview. I don't use the anchor as a mold, so morgoth could summon like hell. I teleported to safe places, genocided his minions and finally, I guess he ran out of mana and I bolted him to death. So the Meta-Spells turned out to be the most usefull for the endgame.
The savefile may be corrupted, for the reason I had once two sessions running without noticing.

Now attempting to go to the void, to swipe off the remains of Morgoth.

P.S. Ironman is rather easy to handle for deathmolds if you don't get to greedy. But its rather hard to solve the God-Quest in Ironman. The floor was so spammed with junks I just didn't see my piece of relic.
