Hasty ents were extremely durable and hit like a truck. I also saw Nan the Giant but obviously didn't engage yet. Saw an ancient spider but it was in a nasty room so I didn't engage it either. Saruman was moved into 'A' which is pretty consistent with the new changes. And Wormtongue appeared with him! How adorable!

My one and only encounter with an Ent had me none-to curious to learn its abilities. I immediately self-hasted and lured that sucker away from the vault and then self teleported away, never to see him again.

I love that the wraiths have been overhauled. Feels right that they are now dangerous (before they were the laughing stock of Angband).

I didn't even realize my DEX was maxxed already. It was very high at the beginning and I tend to drink with every Nimbleness potion when playing warrior. This actually led into severe encumbrance around DL:20 when my STR dropped to 17.
