This is advance warning that there are changes being planned for Angband's presence on the web. The main reason for this is that we are relying on the good graces of a number of people who are no longer actively involved with the Angband community. This means that every time something not completely routine comes up (problems with building, releases, competition issues, etc) someone like me has to request favours from people who are getting nothing out of it beyond the satisfaction of doing a favour.
So, there is an emerging plan to consolidate a lot of current things into one site. This new site would be the official Angband site, would likely have the potential to also host variants, would have a new forum, and would host things like the ladder, screenshots, competitions etc. It may also host some equivalent of the nightly builds, or that may move to Github, or some combination of the two.
Current plan is for a gradual transition, probably starting with a replacement for rephial.
