    Ladder summary page

    could you add a maxdepth column to the ladder page? It makes a good proxy for playing style (cl 30, dl 29 vs cl 30 dl 60 tells a lot in a single line.)
    For a particular variant, turncount would help too, but it doesn't mean much across different variants.

        So I added maxdepth and turncount (as that was easy thanks to the competitions). The tables now look rather sparse

          for some reason the turncount is only showing when the character is dead.

            I don't think so -- I see plenty of alive and/or winners with turncount.

              It must be something else. Looking at my chars, sorted by recently updated, my 7 most recent do not have turncounts. Perhaps the nightlies have changed recently to break something. Some winners, some not, all 3.1.2. I wonder if this link will work. http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-browse...PowerDiver&s=1

                Nighties broke it, indeed. So, what are the 'old' turns - game turns, player turns or active turns? And what the hell are active turns anyway...

                  Game turns is what you want.

                  Non-active turns are turns spent resting. Some people think that they should count differently from other turns, for reasons I will never understand.

                  There is something buggy IMO about counting an active turn for autopickup even though it counts [I think, could be wrong] as 1/10 of an active turn when playing. I wish drop and pickup would just take 0 game turns, especially since I can no longer use '-' to step without autopickup. I guess I should rant in a different thread.

                    Game turns it is, then. Please try to post something from the nightlies so we see it works.

                    (I really need to implement command for mass re-processing of existing dumps. Mah, lazy..)
