Anyone else have trouble using Firefox to upload to the ladder?

Title says it all. Windows. Haven't tried under Linux. The file requester doesn't insert the file name and path into the text box. Won't let me type directly into the box. I'll investigate further if asked.

It doesn't hurt me to switch to IE just for that one task, but I'm curious if it's FF or OOOK or my system causing the problem.

It must be your system, I don't know of anything server-side I could do to cause such a behaviour.

Try using the find in folder dialog to pick the file

I had a problem once typing the file name in directly. But it worked when using the find in folder dialog.

Otherwise using FF 3.5 on vista premium with no problem. And my problem origninally was probably a typo in the box.

Using Ubuntu 8.10 and FF3.0 the text box stays blank after choosing the file, but it uploads just fine.

Windows 7, FF3.0.13, the box is blank as well, but it uploads as you can see by my most recent char Ildain.

Actually, I think I've seen this too - and it may be to do with the font colour being the same as the background in the text box. Try highlighting the text box and see if you can see what's there.
