Game Master's Campaign - Fantasy art kit

So, I got pulled into more projects after completing the artwork for Angband. Book covers and interior illustrations for HARP and Rolemaster, and artwork upgrades for the digital Rolemaster extension for Fantasy Grounds 2....which again lead me to plunge into a huge art kit made up of various tiles & tokens for use with virtual tabletop softwares.

Everything will be painted as seen from a top-down view, in order to be able to rotate the tokens on the battlemap, using the same token.

I'm in the process of rigging up a separate page for this project on my personal website, seen here: http://www.digitalartwork.no/?page_id=745

The project will be launched on kickstarter.com sometime soon, hopefully within a few weeks. I just need to paint more preview images for it, so people get a good look of what the art for the kit will look like.

Posting a few preview at the end here:

You've definitely still got the magic Shockbolt---the whole lot of these look to be quality indeed.

Thanks getter77 & Antoine ! The tiles & tokens project page on my website got a nice update today, should look more professional for when I launch the kickstarter, maybe sometime next week.

Looks like tomorrow will be the day this kickstarter project goes live. I've put everything on the project page, just gotta get some sleep and then review it before clicking the launch button.

Posting the link here when it's live

Thanks! I don't have any hopes of getting filthy rich off of this project, I would be more than happy if just the minimum goal was met, getting some $ back for the several hundred hours that will be put into the kit

                    Good luck!

For everyone else, I've heard that one of the most important things for getting Kickstarter to publicize your campaign for you is to have a lot of early momentum, so if you're going to contribute to this campaign, contribute now. Remember that your credit card won't be charged until the end of the campaign.

                    Shockbolt, some suggestions:

                    1) Clearly indicate the scale of the map units. What kinds of figurines would work well with these maps? Or are they not compatible with figures?

                    2) The previews need to be way up higher in the project description. People want to know what they'll be getting in exchange for their support.

                    3) What license is being provided for the imagery?

                    4) It was unclear to me at the start that there was no physical product being provided. People will want to know that they're expected to print out their own maps (assuming they want to run a real-life campaign with your work).

                    5) You should run a spellchecker; there's a few minor typos (e.g. "lisense", "nomatter")

Anyway, best of luck to you!

                      1) Main use are digital campaigns, for use with virtual tabletop softwares, or for creating modules or use them with digital games (that's where the liCenSe comes in ) . People are also able to use the larger version of the kit(s) to create maps, then print them out, and use them with the tokens that come with the kit. It's up to each user if they want to adjust the size up or down, so it fits with for example miniatures.

                      2) It was a slight battle, chosing what and how it was to appear, I figure most people will go for the play video button first, notice it's about tiles & tokens, then scroll until they see images, and read the text after that.

                      3) See Terms of use

                      4) Clearly stated that it's a pure digital kit now, people will have to take care of the prints themselves.

                      5) fixed

Spent some time creating additional graphics for the KS project page, making it much easier to read and understand. At least the pledge rewards should be nice and clear now, with the new graphics uploaded.

The kickstarter project reached 111% funding today after negotiating a deal with a developer of a Virtual tabletop software, adding a new pledge reward granting a license to integrate the base Fantasy art kit directly into the software.
