Just had a nice stewed mushroom appetizer, made with:
1/2 lb mushrooms of vigor (aka criminis)
~1/3 cup potion of confusion (aka dry sherry)
2-4oz smpked mumak belly (aka bacon)
1/2 mild red pepper
1 shallot
1T vinegar
1 clove garlic
salt to taste.
1 flask oil (aka 2T olive oil)
Spices (I used fresh rosemary and thyme)
saute the second group until oniony things are limp.
Add mushrooms and part of sherry. Keep adding sherry as it reduces until mushrooms are soft.
Fee Fi Fo Fum.
