Not sure about balance, but it would be nice to be able to afford consumables basically whenever you need them, but still limited from black market purchases. Also I noticed no personality has +2 Chr except Unlucky

Thanks for the suggestion! To begin with, I didn't like it too much (what justification is there for the increased gold drops?), but after thinking about it a bit I'm starting to warm up to it. Everyone knows rich bastards just keep getting richer, right? So no other justification for the extra gold is really needed (and in any case, things like no-selling already affect gold drops in mysterious ways...)

And Noble is probably (possibly?) a better personality name than Rich Bastard.

I'm a bit surprised if finding money for consumables is a serious problem beyond the very early game, though.

For me at least, it isn't the money for consumables, it is finding the consumables themselves.
Got cursed early, usually, no problem. Then I checked every town, not one remove for sale. sigh... just had to live with it for a while...
