You're asking the wrong question. A game isn't dead if it works, and NPP works fine.
Are you asking if it still has an active community somewhere? Or are you looking for specific new features?Comment

The Dev has occasionally gone silent before. A few years ago I saw almost nothing for like 2 years. Then NPP-Moria and such erupted.Comment
