    Angband and Windows

Happy New Year everybody on the Angband Forums.

It got me again - Started a new char and am at Level 41 again ... hehe. While i have coding experience i do not feel able to contribute to the code at my current knowledge Point. But i can and would like to contribute to the game in form of an help or strategy guide.

I am able to contribute this knowledge in form of a text or a pdf file. Please everybody let me know what Kind of help she/he thinks is missing or required.

Will come back to this Topic, once i got a cable based Internet Connection in my new appartment.

And if anybody wants to Point out to me, what to read and what is required to code and compile Angband on a personal PC running Windows 7, then i would gladly welcome that Information.

    Thanks and Cheers,
    Tibarius

    bump, anyone?

FWIW, if I want to know the inner workings of something I either come here or the wonderful, but extremely out-of-date, juti.spoilers online.

I believe that the best place to learn to play the game very well is to watch Fizzix's youtube videos of him playing.

This thread is a good place to start.

I second the motion! Fizzix's "Let's Play Angband" series was the single greatest contributor to improving my game.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”
