Well, managed to survive to the last two guardians and was almost to Sauron's depth in TIG, then the game crashed when I tried to access the character information screen. Now, whenever I reload the savefile I can continue playing, but the game immediately crashes again if I try to access the character information screen. I've had a few game crashes along the way on this foray, but this is the only one that seems insurmountable.
