Entroband / Hengband

Ok, my favorite variant (And I played most of them) is hengband, but looking at the ladder I see that entroband has exactly the same races and classes. So tell me, what is the difference between entroband and hengband

A few years ago, the maintainer of Hengband decided to stop. Someone else made a few changes to the last version of Hengband, and called it Entroband; after a couple of years and versions he also quit. More recently, there has been discussion about new work on a successor here.

I posted in the other thread endorsing Dave or anyone else taking over Entroband. There should be an entro changelist distributed with the zip, I thought.
