    Quickband new release

    Hi folks

A new Quickband release is up at
    http://angband.oook.cz/quickband/.

Quickband is based on NPP and this new release brings the game up to date with about five years of NPP development - new monsters, new classes, lots of features and an improved interface. (Thanks Jeff & Diego!)

While NPP itself is thoroughly tested, this Quickband release might conceivably be buggy and is almost certainly unbalanced But it's fun and as the name suggests it doesn't take very long.

    Enjoy!
    A.

PS The release includes source and Windows binary. I'd be very grateful for any ports to other OS.

You can download dlls from http://www.dll-files.com... put it in the Quickband dir next to the executable... that ought to fix it. I wonder why this happened... NPP guys, is this a familiar problem?

I see the problem. I should have statically linked it. I'll post a new version tonight.

Jeff, I'll also send you a revised version of the NPP Visual Studio project file.

(Frostwulf, downloading the DLL, and any others required, and putting them in the Quickband directory, is a valid work around.)
