Hmm true, I hadn't thought of LoS blocking, just that monsters could open the doors. Maybe I'll bring it back later, not sure for now.

    Meanwhile 0.04 is up: http://users.norwoodlight.com/danlev...ry-0.04.tar.gz

And I'm no longer intent on keeping Strawberry in sync with V, IMO the spellbook changes would make it too annoying.

Any non-spellbook changes should be fairly straightforward to patch into your variant, though. A lot of variants steal each others' features, and the more in-sync the codebases are in general, the easier that is to do.

        0.03 has been re-released and 0.04 removed: http://users.norwoodlight.com/danlev...ry-0.03.tar.gz

Suffice to say the spell changes in 0.04 didn't work out, and I think I'll be keeping all the Vanilla spells. That'll also make staying in sync with V once again feasible.

Edit: and dang, I need to learn how to use a revision control system :P

If you learn svn, you can probably manage Strawberry as a branch of V. Don't ask me for details, though
