    PosChengband 7.3.5

Hello, new here but long time player of the game. Recently got latest release of PSB. Any way of switch the display of walls to a more traditional "#" instead of solid blocks? Thank you in beforehand.
PS: cannot code or compile to save my life :/

Sadly, AFAICT there doesn't seem to be a way to do this without doing fuckery with the code and then recompiling; there's an alter visuals section in-game, but it only seems to let you change monster and object glyphs for some reason, and I don't see like an edit file that lets you change the glyphs of terrain (which is weird because I'm pretty sure there used to be one).
Everything you need to know about my roguelike playstyle:

I took nearly two years to win with a single character in PosChengband.

Hi, I have no idea of why or how, but now it seems to be displaying the same plain block style as old Zangband, which is ok. This morning I downloaded a copy of ComposBand and the walls are the 'normal' hashtags. Then I did a bit of research and I found out PosChengband is somehow 'included' in Composite Angband? Is that correct? Feels like I could be at home finally with Compos, looks and plays lovely. Also pouring some hours into Z+, which displays oldschool #s too and takes Zangband one step further.

Compos is a fork of PosCheng, but not the latest PosCheng—I can't quite recall right now, I think it forked from and after PosCheng v7.0 but before PosCheng was heavily reworked and refactored?

If you're looking for the "latest" in this lineage, that'd be FrogComposband; also you can play all this online at, well, here (click on the Home tab at the top—accounts are created by simply inputting a username and password, if the used username doesn't already exist it'll be created with the password you put in alongside it).

I appreciate you mentioning it, as I'm aware the 7.3.5 PosCheng that I got is more recent, if I'm not mistaken. Hence my doubt about displaying it with my fav traditional looks, rather than the blocks. Thank you very much for the info (^^)7
