Is there no way to use macros in this variant? I can't find it in the = menu...

Macros are under the @ command 'interact with macros' not the '=' menu.
(I know, I suggested moving it but apparently that's where the Japanese players are used to finding it
)
If you want more detailed information / help files then many of the ones for XAngband apply to TinyAngband as well. TinyAngband is a 'quick' variant so doesn't go into great detail in the help files.
Oh yes, I'll also take this time to mention that TinyAngband is compatible with the Vanilla Angband sound files so you can use the excellent Sound collection from Dubtrain.Currently turning (Angband) Japanese.Comment
