sustains don't sustain ?

im currently running a HT mage who has innate sustain STR and sustain CON from the equipment, and i've noticed both my STR and CON now have been reduced.
I know casting spells without mana can do this, but i was just meleeing a undead beholder (had my CON darined) and before this, i was meleeing carcharot !! and lost STR.
what is happening?

I dont know whats going on there, but time attacks from vortices or hounds can always lower sustained stats. So maybe this attacks type was added to those monsters, or maybe its something unintentional.

I can confirm that stats ARE sustained in the nightly, so put on your big boy pants and upgrade!

Note that time hounds breath time which temporarily reduces stats even if you have sustain. Not sure whether there is another source of time breath. Doesn't sound like your situation though.

The only ways to get stat drain past sustains in 4.1.3 are spellcasting with too little mana and time attacks. If it was 4.2.0, it could be the Black Breath.
