    [Bug 4.2.0] Corrupt savefile after death

    Killed by a plasma hound while knocked out and at negative health due to active bloodlust. Got the tombstone as per usual, but when attempting to use the old savefile to create a new game, I get a failed assert:

    cave-square.c
    line 889 (square_in_bounds())

    Savefile is attached

    Thanks. I'm guessing you don't actually need the savefile fixed, so there's no hurry for me to look at it?

      Having the monster memory would be nice as it is quite extensive, but if I feel so compelled I'll just attempt a fix myself.

      I lost another save file in a nightly build a while back to using solo combat on vecna, but since this is in an official release I figure I'd report it.

        You won't lose monster memory--that is stored in a separate file, and is shared across all characters.
