How To: Make permanent walls purple for easier vault clearing

I play in ASCII mode, and can't stand having to constantly check to see what tiles are permanent walls and which ones I can remove. This becomes particularly bad when using WoD to clear everything but the artifacts in vaults. So, here's what I did:
    Code:
    F:60:0x0A/0x23
    F:61:0x0A/0x23
    F:62:0x0A/0x23
    F:63:0x0A/0x23
Paste this into the end of your font.prf file. Enjoy!

[EDIT] Wow, that made the town look really funny.

I have the following in my CharName.prf file.

    # permanent wall
    F:60:0x01:0x01

All permanent walls show up as diamonds.

...wouldn't it be easier to change it in the options/visuals?
There's an entry for invisible traps too... I didn't try, can it be changed?
If you can convincingly pretend you're crazy, you probably are.

That's how I changed it. The question is how to save it from game to game.
I "save to prf file" and rename my prf file when I rename my char.
I am sure there are better ways to do that.

The invisible traps thing is listed as a bug on the rephial development bug page.

Hey, my save file is named "Shara" since I play Angband, as is my preference file. The chars almost always have a different name and I don't need to rename any files.
