does an item's power increase the level feeling?

from the thread title, you might think "duh, does it?", but it's actually more complicated that that.

Let's say, for example. I'm in a 6-9 level. I found a Ring Of Speed.

There's The Mouth Of Sauron wandering around, and i would rather leave the level, but i want to find what the -9 is.

Now, this ring is a whopping +17. This MUST be it. But a ring of speed at DL65 would be a 6-7, not a 6-9.

Does the roll (the actual power value of the item) affect the level feeling? Is the level feeling based on the item being ring_ofspeed or on it being value:+17 ?

      It does

Every floor object adds to the feeling; how much it adds depends on its value, and how out of depth it is.

right; i thought it was the value of the highest-power item vs the depth.
