    No, they're completely gone from the game. If you have four un-ID'd potions showing in the knowledge menu, then that means there are four you haven't seen yet.

        Probably some of the shallow depth potions, like blindness, slime mold juice, etc.

          8ngwe is right. Some potions have very shallow MAX depth, so you won't f8nd them at all once you are deep.

              If you are being obsessive about this whole find every item, kill every unique (and every monster type?), then after you've descended to DL127, recall, and start down the stairs from town to find the shallow items you've missed.
