4.1.0 crashes after changing birth options

EDIT: I feel it may be as simple as a read-only issue. I noticed that when I load a saved file and die, each game I play with that file (which has Rand-Arts set) has the same set of Randarts each game, instead of generating new ones. I haven't been able to figure out where to change read-only on flies in mac, tho. I may buy a PC soon, so I can play games again, since MACs are lousy for games.

That actually looks like a crash in randart generation. Is it 4.1.0 downloaded from rephial? Where are you running it from - your desktop, your applications folder, or somewhere else?

I copied the game into my applications folder. I believe I downloaded it from rephial.

I checked the permissions of Angband and they are read-write, so I don't know why it won't write to my HD.
