Selling/Donating

Hey there, so I haven't played Angband in some years and am rather confused as to why I can't sell things in the stores. It is only letting me donate items. Is this a bug or a newer gameplay feature? Very confusing.

Hey there, so I haven't played Angband in some years and am rather confused as to why I can't sell things in the stores. It is only letting me donate items. Is this a bug or a newer gameplay feature? Very confusing.

There is a birth option for selling or no selling, which defaults to no selling. When playing with no selling, gold drops are bigger.

I recommend giving no selling a good try out; most people have found that they actually prefer it.
