    Qulythulg city

    See the attached screenshot.

What's going on here? It doesn't look like a pit, and Q's don't breed AFAIK. And I've not been in LOS of any of them, so there's been no summoning.

I think it's a room of chambers - new room type in 4.1. They consist of a bunch of rooms opening onto each other, with a themed monster type.

Themed level with a random letter spawning in the center area - depending on the type spawned can be extremely dangerous when youre forced to traverse that center area. I have died on those before.

Usually I leave these asap, but with the right letter they can be profitable (for example $).

Does that room have an increased chance of spawning The Emperor Q and if not, why?

I.e. blarog chambers would spawn unique balrogs, human pits would spawn Lorgan, dragon pits Glaurung, etc.

Rooms of chambers allow uniques, so yes, but typically only a few levels out of depth.

Wait, these are new? I remember these from quite some time ago. Are they an O/FA thing? Because I feel like I distinctly remember running into one of these with like 5 storms of unmagic once (for those who are unaware, storms of unmagic are very very nasty in O).

              Yeah, they're an O/FA thing.

                The O/FA-ification continues, I see.
