i only played the older TOME, when it was still tales of middle earth. But i do remember the lost soul part. Yes, you had pass-wall, and you also would find incredible gear in the halls of mandos, if you had patience you could level super easy and start a new game with stuff you wouldn't see for hours of regular gameplay.
