My ironman paladin didn't even make it into the dungeon, literally never even saw an enemy. -177 HP after one move.

When that happens, you need to spend a while in ironman mode getting 200HP . It's the second time ever. I think it' a minor misfeature that makes for the occasional joke. I believe it's only the second time that's been reported. This is a new misfeature that is only possible since lava became passable. it's a combination of this and using lava streamers as eye candy in town.

I was already ironman, but squaring off with the RNG with respect to food and light is too tedious. I decided to empirically test how much damage lava deals.

If you are in the US, you can sue the game devs if you step on lava when there is no "warning: molten floor" sign.

OK, that is a real bug, not a misfeature. The town is completely unreachable from the lava.

Never thought of it before....but Recall always lands you on the stairs in town, but NEVER lands you on the stairs in the dungeon.....
