Can we save the term window positions in x11

Is it possible to save the window positions so when I start Angband, I don't have to move them around before I start playing?

This is meant to happen transparently (and write to a file x11-setings.prf in ~/.angband/Angband/), but is currently broken. If you look at the top of main-x11.c, you'll see some environment variables you can use as a workaround.

I guess I will have something to do when I finish with the sound code

Mine just for the first time saved successfully. Somehow. I don't know why. My best guess is that I exited via the pull down 'file' menu instead of via the x in the top right. You might try that.
