Corrupt save game

Howdy all -

One of my save files has become corrupted. When I attempt to load my dwarf priest, the game tells me upon loading "Cannot read monster 1". Then, upon pressing enter, it informs me that "savefile corrupted - couldn't load block monsters."
This is particularly disappointing since I am about to crack into a vault.
I had made a backup a few levels prior, just in case something like this were to happen. But I had picked up some reasonably nice gear in the meantime, so I'm curious if some of the experts here know better what might have happened to poor Oswin.
I know that Sirridan has been able to give good advice about this to other folks in the past and wondering if he or anyone else might be able to diagnose this and/or work some magic.
I am playing a nightly version of 4.0.2 - I believe it is 4.0.2-14-gb662e89

Here you are. It seems there was a problem with a mimicked object - which is a possible indicator of a bug, so thanks. If you kill some creeping coins on that level and they just vanish, don't be surprised
