    Wahooo!! Bow of Lothlorien

Something *really* useful in the store! Wow; this upgrades my character very nicely. Long Bow of Lothlorien, (+12, +18) (x5) <+5, +2> I need pConf and this frees up both rings for rings of damage (currently using a ring of FrAct). I'm also in need of Dexterity boosts. This has +5, wow. This also frees up a bunch of space in my home to throw out all the different weapon and ammo combos I was holding onto because I can't decide which is best. This is the best ranged weapon I have ever found in all my long hours in the dungeons. 223 damage a round with seeker arrows of wounding. Hi. My weapon just went from 350 to 550. Hi. (replaced ring of FrAct with Ring of Damage [+14].

All that gold I amassed stuck in the dungeons looking for a word of recall paid off. haha.

My character is shaping up quite nice:

Yep Well, Al-Pharazon brought me down to 100 health but I being the stubborn idiot I am wasn't going to teleport away (which might fail and thus not necessarily best choice, but I do have 4 scrolls of *destruction*). He had 2 purple bars left so I say 'fugg it' he hasn't dealt more than 60 damage per attack the entire battle, so I heal with my puny critical potions and whack at him some more and then he fled, thankfully. Anyway, my character is very sweet; I love the body keeping my gear is providing; that is huge. (though I have 9 mushrooms of vigor at home). So, I didn't die, not yet. And other than letting my health get low, easily handled DL 56 with 5 rating level feeling. Found my first ring of speed [+6] (I guess Mr. Pharazon dropped it) so now I'm cruising around at +11 speed (boots, too). Is a Balrog of Moria powerful enough to cause a level 5 feeling on DL56? (handled him and his friends handily).

Without bows of Lorien, Half-Trolls would be an inferior choice for warriors.

I keep picking up powerful long bows. Now I have a long bow of the bard (similar in power to the Lorien, but only +1 DEX, but +1 speed). And just picked up a Long Bow of Belthronding with +22 damage and +1 shooting speed. Still, the Lorien bow I must continue to use because of its pConf and FrAct.

Just in case you didn't know: "Bard" and "Belthronding" are both artifact bows, i.e. if you drop them (and leave the level) you'll never see them again.
