    Automatically destroying spesific item types that is. So you don't have to wade through yet another +dex ring if you don't need them, or wands of disarming etc...

        "Hiding", not "destroying". At least in vanilla case. If you unsquelch an item it appears back.

            Yes, at least in vanilla angband. Squelch doesn't do anything to item generation, it only hides them from sight so that you don't see as much clutter and can concentrate on items that are interesting.

              Then, could someone squelch everything in his inventory, then take things, squelch again ect, then recall and un-squelch everything?

              Edit : tested. squelched items are dropped. me silly.
