Exactly, which is why I thought it should either spam these status ailments only when in melee range, so that an adventurer is well-advised to never ever let this unique get into melee range, or alternatively be so fragile that most characters can kill it off with only one or two shots from a large distance.

Anyway, my issue with an early game unique that kills at melee range is that with radius 1 torches, you very often blunder into a stationary monster when running around a corner.Comment
