Hello, I'm a new angband player 
Shout out to fizzix I've been watching some of your videos on youtube
So, I started a new character in the latest 3.5 yesterday and got him up to level 9. We had some company come to the house and I must have minimized Angband. When I came back to the computer, I must have loaded a second instance of Angband from the shortcut and pulled up the same save file. (I had a lot of stuff open and didn't realize my current game was still open.) I played for a few more hours that evening and reached level 26. I didn't pay much attention, but I must have closed both Angband windows, and it seems my save file is the level 9 version of the character and my progress is lost. Can you guys lock the save file so it can't be opened more than once? Something like "This file is in use by another program..." That should prevent this from happening. I'm on Windows 7.
