        This one is even more hilarious:

        "There is a bright flash of light. The small iron chest (disarmed) was really a monster!"

        I don't really want to think into what hole I put my lockpick to disarm the monster...

            The funny part is that you can disarm chest mimics. The mimic should probably be discovered before trying to disarm it...

              Angband for idiots tip: Any chest that has arms is a mimic and should be approached with caution. Though it is possible to disarm a live mimic, doing so will not diminish it's offensive capabilities. It's better to disarm it after you kill it.
