    Squelch question

If I set quality squelching options to cursed items will this include cursed artifacts?

    Thanks!

You can't destroy artifacts, so no.

The squelcher doesn't destroy, it only ignores.

But thanks for the answer. I was wondering that myself.

It would also be nice to have an option to never squelch the higher-end items, even if they're cursed. If I find a cursed Multi-Hued DSM at 50', I want it!

I'm not sure I understand the answer... If I have the quality option set to "cursed" and I ID a cursed artifact, will it be squelched? I am guessing the answer is yes.

The answer is no - artifacts are explicitly excluded in any check for whther an item is squelchable.
