    How to enlarge inventory?

    Is there a way to enlarge inventory?
    Can I put something in a bag or a chest?

    No, you're stuck with your inventory the size it is. It's a limiting factor. You can drop stuff, and it'll stay on the floor until you leave the level. You can also store items in your home.

    Some variants have various kinds of expanded storage, but not Vanilla.
    a chunk of Bronze {These look tastier than they are. !E}
    3 blank Parchments (Vellum) {No french novels please.}

      There is also the home, though using that requires you to return to town...
      You read the scroll labeled NOBIMUS UPSCOTI...
      You are surrounded by a stasis field!
      The tengu tries to teleport, but fails!

        Thanks for the reply.
        Perhaps there is ways to use inventory more effective.
        To use only rechargeable source of light.
        Food can be replaced with spells.

          Right -- you have to think carefully about which items you bring into the dungeon. I typically don't bring any fuel with me if I have a lantern -- the 15000 turns you can stock up in the lantern itself are more than enough for any one dungeon trip. While I do bring food, I'll also ditch it if I need the space for something else.

          It can also be helpful to play with the "no selling" option. Hit '=' during character creation to access the "birth options" (which are fixed for the entire game once you set them). No selling is here, along with a bunch of difficulty options. With no selling, shops give you only 0AU for every item you sell to them. To compensate, you get significantly more money from money drops and digging out treasure veins. This alleviates pressure on your inventory since you don't need to carry stuff to sell any more.

            As word of recall has delay, I pick up an Item for a place of used scroll.

              A word of advice: carry more than one Word of Recall scroll with you. They can get destroyed easily, and if you don't have spares, then you'll be stranded in the dungeon.
