Maybe it's time for scrolls of disenchant weapon .

I suppose there could be the option to combine ammo that differs only in its enchantment level by using the lower number for each value. So 20 (+9,+8) arrows could combine with 20 (+8,+9) arrows to create 40 (+8,+8) arrows. Of course this would not be the default action so there would have to be a command to force it to happen.

Did you notice the quiver? If you wield ammo it will go into a quiver, which uses one inventory slot per 99 heterogeneous missiles. I feel like enchant scrolls are no longer necessary for this particular task (at least, as long as the quiver works as it does now).

There's no quiver in the home, though. So if you want to save those Holy Might stacks for the endgame, each takes up a full slot.

            Ah yes.

I guess I carry ammo like that and am willing to suffer the odd bit of fire-damage.

It's more of an issue in the middle game when the mithril/seeker ammo starts appearing and you don't have a bow/crossbow yet that is good enough to stick with. Then I like to collect both kinds of ammo and go with the type I have most of, storing the others in my house.

It's not a real big issue though.

havent played v in a while, i'm mostly a Sang player, but got to say so far i'm loving the newest version. The interface is very nice a clean, and well detailed, love the new flavors for the game, it's a lot different than what it used to be. Good job all on everyone who has worked on the game.

Wow, I definitely notice that difference! Playing admittedly a bit recklessly, at 1450' without free action I was paralyzed by a Gorgimaera... and survived! it wore off before I'd been whittled down much below half my (warrior's 305) HP. I certainly didn't expect to get out of that one alive... :-)
