    Plural names of monsters

    Concerning the new way monster list is displayed (using plural names), I have a few interrogations about the plural form of some monsters.

    Using plural_aux(), I get:
    - Manes (Maneses? -- see Erinyeses)
    - Yeti (Yetis?)
    - Orc/Ogre/Kobold shamans (shamen?)
    - Tengu (Tengus)
    - Colossi (Colossus?)
    - Hezrou/Glabrezu/Barbazu (us?)
    - Nalfeshnee (Nalfeshnees?)

      Colossi is the correct plural, but Yeti is not (Yetis is correct). Shamen is also correct, but I don't know about the others.

          For what it's worth, it is my intention to make monster plurals behave like object plurals by getting rid of plural_aux() and using the |singular|plural| syntax in monster.txt. Not going to happen for 3.3, but I will try to keep an eye on all the plural adjustments noted on the forums.

                              Heh, I don't think that the creators of 'Phorever People' should ever be considered a reliable reference source when it comes to spelling.
