    Probably a silly question

Is it harder to enchant a stack than a single item? I don't know if its just bad luck but it's not working out for me so far, only used 4 scrolls on it but none have worked.
    You have found a trap!

I expected as much. Does it scale depending on the size of the stack or should I just enchant them one at a time?

Difficulty scales with the stack size.

Ammo is easier to enchant, to make up for this. Enchanting an ordinary stack of ammo should be roughly equal in difficulty to enchanting a single normal item.

Yes. Ammo may be enchanted 20 at a time without incurring a too-large stack failure risk. Other items incur a too-large stack failure risk at 2 items.
