Best Maggot drop ever ?

With the competition 97 characer, I just got a Lucerne Hammer (Defender) off Maggot before entering the dungeon. Sells for 21k gold. Will reroll in the interest of fairness.

If they didn't want you to sell it, they should have set no_selling.

It's not as big an advantage as you might think. See how well you can do with it.

Maggot just gave me Mordenkainen's Escapes. New 3.2 nightly that's going to 3.3.

That's not as improbable as my WoG way before stat-gain...twice. Only time I have found WoG before any other dungeon book, and I got two of them.

Not a bug, just RNG playing tricks, and it is a good that she does, keeps things interesting.

That darn Maggot! I encountered him virtually instantly in my new game. (I wasn't paying attention when beating on a drolem) Anyway, I killed him and he did not drop anything! Is that possible?

I then encountered a Squint-Eyed Rogue who stole my spellbook! Good thing I had not spent my starting money yet.

If a rogue steals something from you, and you stay on the level, then if you kill him/her/it then the stolen items/money will drop in addition to any other drops.
