Angband on mobile device

Hello Everyone,

My first post here, so apologies if this has been asked recently. I would like to play Angband on a mobile device. I am willing to buy a device primarily on this suitability to play Angband (physical keyboad, landscape mode, etc.)

Does anyone know a version of Angband and a device that is reliable / maintained / proven to work? I will consider anything, from a Blackberry, iPhone, PSP, Pocket PC, etc.

There is a Nintendo DS version (FAngband too!).

3.0.9 is on Android as well, although I'd recommend playing it on a phone with a keyboard, although it's possible not to. (I play on my G1 sometimes)

Using his method you could bring angband to anything that runs Java, in theory anyway.

I have been playing Angband on a Motorola Droid for the last few months. In fact this has been my first exposure to the game. I've been having a great time with it.

I tried the fangband for ds but I wasn't to pleased with it. The nethack port on ds is much better. But that doesn't quench my lust for angband when I'm stuck at work and it's 3am. That's what my usb stick is for. =D

I have to agree - Nethack as a game is more localised, so being restricted to a small screen doesn't hurt as much.

I've done some more thinking about this, checked out the Nethack iPhone port, etc, and have come to the conclusion that a good port to iOS/Android could be done. Pandora has got to be worth thinking about too - it should just run linux ports.
